Job Summary
Manage occupational health for factory employees by conducting clinical assessments for musculoskeletal disorders, respiratory conditions, and chemical exposures. Provide emergency medicine care and first aid while ensuring compliance with the Indian Factories Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. Utilize electronic health record systems to document cases and communicate effectively with diverse staff groups. Work independently in shifts, including weekends, to address operational needs in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree with valid registration from the National Medical Commission (NMC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Factory Medical Officer or in an industrial/occupational health setting
- Strong clinical knowledge in emergency medicine, first aid, and preventive healthcare
- Proficiency in managing common occupational health issues such as musculoskeletal disorders, respiratory conditions, and chemical exposures
- Familiarity with Indian Factories Act, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, and relevant government guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse employee groups
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends, as required by operational needs
