Job Summary
Greet patients and provide basic orientation to the center and all available services; manage check-in and insurance verification; obtain and enter patient information into the Practice Management System (PMS); monitor ECW office visits screen for timely processing; verify insurance and perform six-month or required recertification-based financial assessments; assist with applications for public entitlements and re-certification; schedule and confirm appointments, follow up on missed appointments, and document in PMS; collect co-payments and manage payments or open balances; respond to inquiries and research billing information; assist with data collection and report preparation; maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; scan and organize medical records.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of related healthcare experience
- Bilingual a plus
