Job Summary
Greet patients and provide basic orientation to the center and all available services; check-in and screen patients to determine insurance; obtain accurate personal information for registration and enter into the Practice Management System (PMS); monitor ECW office visits screen to ensure timely processing; verify insurance and perform financial assessment of new patients and six-month reassessment as needed; assist with applications for public entitlements and re-certification; assist with appointment scheduling and follow-up on missed appointments; collect co-payment fees, track payments and open balances; respond to inquiries regarding billing, research incorrect charges, and adjust accounts as needed; assist with data collection and report preparation; maintain inventory of equipment and supplies; scanning of medical records documentation/reports; bilingual a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of related healthcare experience
