Job Summary
Supervises staff performing revenue cycle activities for various front-end processes including pre-registration, registration, charge capture, point of service payments, insurance verification, financial counseling, appointment scheduling, check-in/out, and health information management. Analyzes revenue-related information to identify trends and takes action to maintain or improve revenue performance, reduce no-shows, and improve customer service scores. Leads improvement efforts in front-end processes and proactively manages front office operations to support accessible, customer-friendly patient care and services in a safe environment. May require travel within the SAW area as needed. Knowledge of Microsoft applications and Excel; strong communication, data analysis, and reporting skills. Located at Augusta Health with on-site operations in Fishersville, VA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Certification in medical practice management (CMOM, CPPM, CMPE) preferred.
- Four (4) years healthcare experience, including one (1) year supervisory or lead experience required.
