Job Summary
Coordinate daily facility operations, organize staff, and delegate tasks while ensuring compliance with TOSRA/OLS policies and procedures. Direct implementation of new policies, protocols, and IT systems; supervise all clerical and clinical staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Act as a liaison between clinic, physicians, and external agencies to minimize disruptions and communicate results to administration. Maintain clinic facilities, order supplies, manage petty cash, and assist with financial counseling and coding. Resolve patient concerns and staff issues to ensure quality service, while participating in committees and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Five years' experience in a healthcare setting
- Previous supervisory experience in a medical office setting
- Two years' experience in performing in an EMR/PM platform
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems and objectives
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications, specifically Microsoft Office programs
- Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving and decision-making
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to walk frequently and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Full range of motion
- Adequate visual acuity to read, the ability to interpret and understand written material
- Adequate hearing and speaking abilities to interact appropriately with others, including patients and co-workers
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedics
- Previous supervisory experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of Athena Electronic Medical Record
- Bilingual
