Job Summary
Assist the provider with patient examinations, procedures, venipuncture, and diagnostic testing while collecting vitals, chief complaints, and documenting medical histories. Manage clinical supplies, perform disinfection of instruments, and conduct daily checks of equipment and safety devices. Handle ERX requests, contact insurance for authorizations, and ensure patient care areas are cleaned after visits. Cross-train to perform Medical Office Assistant duties and provide coverage in other Foundation office areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- Licensed to practice as an LPN (applicable to state)
- BLS within 90 days of hire

- One to three months experience
