Job Summary
Medical Office LPN provides support to the provider with patient exams and procedures, collects vitals and medical histories, supports e-prescribing and referrals, and assists with phone coverage, scheduling, and documentation. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture and diagnostic testing as directed, managing supplies and medication storage, updating patient records, assisting with vaccination and medication management policies, handling ERX prescriptions, obtaining insurance authorizations, disinfecting/sterilizing instruments, and cross-training to perform Medical Office Assistant duties to support clinic operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of accredited practical nursing program
- Licensed to practice as an LPN (state dependent)
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Experience: 1-3 months preferred
