Job Summary
Collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens from patients, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and transport to the laboratory. Resolve billing or patient information issues in the ordering portal and manage onsite inventory of collection supplies. Adhere strictly to sample collection protocols, safety guidelines, and personal protective equipment requirements while maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Document all specimen collection and handling activities accurately. Work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to noon and Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 5pm to 9pm, for 34 hours weekly at $16.00-$18.00 per hour. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Successful completion of a background check
- Successful completion of a drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for specimen collection
- Visual acuity for reading labels and forms
- Must be male
