Job Summary
Greet patients and visitors at the front desk, check them in for encounters, and update patient records while assisting with form completion. Schedule medical appointments, determine eligibility, and manage the end-of-day process in the computer system. Retrieve and load x-ray studies on DINPACS workstations, provide images upon request, and transport patients to other departments. Answer the main office line, screen calls, and relay information regarding scheduled procedures. Maintain records of examinations performed and coordinate patient flow through the department.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- High School Degree or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Must pass TB Test
- Subject to a background/security investigation
- Willingness to comply with DHA vaccination requirements
- Pre-employment drug screening
