Job Summary
Medical Office Assistant - Rotator responsible for welcoming patients, check-ins, coordinating workflow and guiding preparation, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with scheduling diagnostic imaging across multiple clinics. Collaborates with clinic teams to deliver a seamless patient experience, supports patient scheduling and administrative tasks, and ensures privacy, confidentiality, and safety compliance. Proficient with electronic medical records and radiology information systems (Netcare and QGenda) and Microsoft Office; demonstrates compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Position requires working across multiple locations with in-person coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Medical Administration, Business Administration, or related field (asset)
- Experience greeting patients and completing check-ins
- Verifying documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Scheduling expertise for diagnostic imaging or other medical appointments
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and radiology information systems
- Experience with Netcare and QGenda (or similar clinical software)
- Strong communication and compassionate patient care
- Team collaboration across clinic departments
