Job Summary
Greet and register patients, manage appointment scheduling, and collect demographic and financial information to ensure accurate revenue capture. Handle incoming and outgoing calls, process insurance eligibility, and manage cash handling while maintaining compliance with privacy regulations. Coordinate referrals, track patient follow-ups, and process urgent or routine requests within established timeframes. Support clinical teams by delivering patient information, managing office supplies, and performing cross-coverage duties as needed. Maintain accurate records, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist patients in navigating their healthcare experience throughout the Bassett Healthcare Network.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience
- Minimum one year of customer service experience
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 year / Associate Degree
