Medical Office Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA or MOA)

Non-exempt Medical Office Assistant role supporting both clinical and administrative tasks across multiple clinic locations. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with patient care, managing patient flow, taking vital signs, helping with exams and procedures, collecting specimens, charting, relaying instructions to patients/families, and providing patient education. Administrative duties include handling medical records, scheduling, verifying insurance, updating charts, and coordinating with lab/X-ray reports. Environmental duties cover keeping exam rooms clean and stocked, maintaining infection control, and ordering supplies. Must be able to travel to all company clinic locations; requires CPR certification and a current health records/immunizations portfolio; minimum one year of medical facility experience or documented externship; education options include HS diploma/GED or medical office assistant training, with a Bachelor’s degree in a health sciences field preferred. Responsibilities also involve ensuring patient rights, responding to emergencies, and supporting overall office efficiency.
