Experienced physician leader to head the Medical Monitoring Unit for oncology trials (Phase I–III) at TRIO, overseeing medical monitors, ensuring safety/efficacy assessment, and integrating cross-functional collaboration across Clinical Operations, Drug Safety, Medical Writing, and Regulatory. Role emphasizes leadership, strategic oversight, resource planning, mentoring, and maintaining high-quality medical monitoring with flexible remote/hybrid options in Montreal-based operations.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) required; oncology specialization strongly preferred
- 8 –10+ years of experience in clinical research
- Proven experience as a Medical Monitor in oncology clinical trials (Phase I–III)
- Strong background in safety review and medical decision-making in active oncology studies
- Demonstrated experience in people management and team leadership
- Experience managing multiple studies or programs simultaneously
- Strong understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory frameworks (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA)
- Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus
- CRO experience strongly preferred; Pharma experience will also be considered
