Job Summary
Manage clinical care for patients with serious illnesses by leading discussions on pain management, complex symptom control, and end-of-life care. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including social work and chaplain support, while providing consultations on goals of care and advance care planning. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no call rotation. Travel between Banner Ocotillo and Banner Ironwood Medical Centers is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an NP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP
- Palliative Care experience
- ACHPN credentialed within 18 months of hire
- Current CPR and BLS
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
- Must be able to travel between Banner Ocotillo Medical Center and Banner Ironwood Medical Center
