Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (ACNP) to support Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the OR as a first assist; responsibilities include conduit harvesting, prepping, draping, opening, closing, and transitioning patients to ICU; collaborate with Residents, Fellows, and clinicians across Cardiology, Thoracic, Transplant, Radiology, and Anesthesia; requires ability to work under pressure and independently in a teaching hospital setting; 7a start, full-time schedule, based in the OR with CT surgery team; 2-3 years CT Surgery/OR experience preferred, new grads with cardiac care background may be considered; Banner Health benefits and loan forgiveness programs offered.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years CT Surgery/OR experience (RNFA or Surgical First Assist experience preferred)
- May consider new grads with a background in cardiac care
- ACNP or Advanced Practice Provider
- Full Time | Monday - Friday 7a to completion of surgeries
- Ability to work independently in the hospital to maintain patient flow efficiency
- Good communication skills and calm demeanor
