Job Summary
Lead the Canada vaccines marketing portfolio by developing and executing tactical campaigns, translating complex scientific data into clear, compliant pharma copy, and guiding cross-functional collaboration. Manage brand strategy, content development, and promotional materials while ensuring PAAB/ASC and Health Canada compliance. Oversee field sales training content, market insights, and digital initiatives, maintaining rigorous editorial quality and adapting long-form science into versatile formats for HCPs, public health officials, advocacy groups, and patients. Fluently navigate English and French communications and partner with internal teams and external agencies to drive uptake and awareness across the Canadian market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a scientific discipline (health sciences preferred)
- Previous pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, communications, regulatory, or medical functions
- Significant experience generating and/or editing pharmaceutical copy (5-7 years or equivalent)
- Extensive hands-on experience with PAAB and ASC submissions and Canadian promotional regulations
- Demonstrated medical writing expertise, including strong grammatical, editorial, and proofreading skills
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate scientific and medical information clearly and concisely
- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects to deadlines
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
- Strong business acumen, ideally with experience in vaccines or a similar market
- Demonstrated learning agility and ability to quickly build therapeutic area knowledge
- Proven ability to take on leadership roles, influence senior stakeholders, and advocate for change
Desired Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in medical writing (AMWA, EMWA)
- Experience in government relations, public relations, and/or advocacy
- Familiarity with principles of clinical research and data interpretation
- Experience using AI tools for content development
