Job Summary
Represent healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities in medical malpractice litigation. Work collaboratively with partners and associates to develop litigation strategy for the defense of medical malpractice actions; draft and review pleadings and discovery, memos, briefs and other litigation documents; analyze medical records; make in-person appearances at court conferences and client meetings throughout Connecticut; participate in depositions, conferences, hearings and all other aspects of medical malpractice litigation; interact with medical experts; conduct legal and medical research and analysis; draft motions; work cooperatively with others; interact with clients. Requires Admission to practice in Connecticut and at least 3 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation. Strong writing, research, client management, organizational, and time-management skills are essential; the role is based in Stamford with hybrid in-office/remote work.
