Job Summary
Manage medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial. Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and memoranda. Communicate directly with clients to guide them through each stage of the case. Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. Work closely with expert witnesses, including preparing reports, affidavits, and testimony. Join a growing legal team in Miami, FL, handling complex cases requiring strong advocacy and client service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- 5+ years of medical malpractice experience
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong client service and communication abilities
- Self-starter with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload
