Job Summary
Coordinate the procurement and management of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely distribution to various departments. Perform inventory checks, maintain accurate records, and oversee logistics-related documentation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet equipment needs, monitor medical equipment conditions, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Conduct training on equipment usage, manage the lifecycle of medical equipment, and participate in safety training.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience
- Proven work experience as a Medical Logistics Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with logistics and inventory software
- Understanding of safety protocols and standards in healthcare
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
- U.S Citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual; fluent in English and Spanish is preferred
- Military experience is desirable but not required
- A valid passport is desirable
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
