Medical Logistics Manager

Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of material and logistics operations for a disaster-response healthcare program supporting Sarasota County, ensuring timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and quality control. Lead logistics teams, train staff for deployments, monitor requisitions from identification to receipt, provide supply chain analysis and policy guidance, maintain visibility of acquisitions across contracts in multiple countries, and report to senior leadership on projects and routines. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate daily with requestors; required shifts include on-call duties and extended hours during operations. Requires ability to respond within 24 hours of notice and be onsite until mission conclusion, with travel to Sarasota as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business management or logistics management preferred
- Basic Life Support
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
- Knowledge of HIPAA/Privacy Act regulations and PII handling
- Strong organization and time management
- Strong oral and written communication
- Cultural competency and interpersonal skills
