Job Summary
Medical Librarian to oversee and lead the hospital's Medical Library for GME programs, manage collections, provide reference services, budget, promote information literacy, maintain licenses/subscriptions, ensure compliance with GME inspections/accreditations, and lead a library team including interlibrary loan and orientation sessions; responsibilities include budget preparation, website maintenance, grant applications (METRO), and producing quarterly performance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Library Sciences from an ALA accredited school
- Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) membership preferred
- 5-6 years of experience working in a medical library in an accredited teaching hospital
