Job Summary
Coordinate and transport clients to medical appointments, emergency rooms, and therapies. Obtain client specimens for laboratories, schedule routine and follow-up visits, and ensure all necessary paperwork is processed and relayed to appropriate staff. Act as the primary liaison for Nursing and Supported Living needs regarding client medical care, pass medications on an emergency or as-needed basis, and assist in desensitization for clients attending appointments. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work during prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting, and transport clients in your own vehicle. High school diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma/GED
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Good organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to transport clients in your own vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Developmentally Disabled individuals preferred
