Job Summary
Mentor and develop associate veterinarians through regular performance discussions and coaching on individual development goals. Set the standard for clinical quality and efficiency while practicing as an associate veterinarian to achieve production targets. Partner with the Practice Manager to build the annual operating plan, manage hospital financial performance toward EBITDA goals, and ensure compliance with medical and DEA regulations. Lead monthly doctor meetings to discuss best practices and supervise externship and mentorship programs. Serve as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health through community engagement at schools and local events.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- valid state license in good standing
- minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- understanding of the financial and operating management of a hospital
