Job Summary
Lead and mentor associate veterinarians through regular performance discussions and coaching on individual development goals. Set the standard for clinical quality by practicing as an associate veterinarian while driving hospital performance toward EBITDA goals in partnership with the Practice Manager. Conduct monthly doctor meetings to discuss best practices and supervise externship programs to foster a culture of growth and recruitment. Serve as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health through community engagement at schools and local events. Manage compliance with medical and DEA regulations while leading the team toward continuous improvement in patient care and client service.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- valid state license in good standing
- minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- An understanding of (or willingness to learn) the financial and operating management of a hospital
- Proficiency in intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
