Job Summary
Lead and mentor associate veterinarians through regular performance discussions and coaching on individual development goals, while modeling the highest standards of clinical quality and client service. Drive hospital performance by partnering with the Practice Manager to develop the annual operating plan, manage financial targets toward EBITDA goals, and ensure compliance with medical and DEA regulations. Foster a culture of growth by leading monthly doctor meetings, supervising externship programs, and championing recruitment efforts. Serve as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health through community engagement at schools, universities, and local events.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- valid state license in good standing
- minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- An understanding of (or willingness to learn) the financial and operating management of a hospital
- Proficiency in intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
