Job Summary
Medical Lead for Cardiovascular and Metabolic in the Taiwan and Hong Kong region. Leads the medical action plan, drives clinical/epidemiological studies, leads publications to support brand objectives, and builds a strong regional/global medical network. Responsible for coaching and developing direct reports, training sales/marketing teams on disease-area knowledge, and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, external health authorities, medical stakeholders, and patient organizations to advance patient outcomes and commercial goals. Requires leadership experience, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills; fluency in Mandarin is required. Emphasis on integrated brand planning, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to ethics and compliance in a global biopharma context.
Required Qualifications
- Medical, Pharmacy, or PhD Degree
- 5+ years professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- 1-3 years in leadership roles (medical affairs preferred)
- Fluent Mandarin is required
