Job Summary
Medical Laboratory Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist needed for the Department of Veterans Affairs facility in Temple, TX. Responsible for performing a broad range of laboratory procedures, analyzing and interpreting results, maintaining quality control and QA measures, troubleshooting instrumentation, and communicating with the healthcare team. Requires independent judgment, experience with laboratory equipment, and ability to manage complex test procedures; must have a BS degree and generalist certification with at least 2 years of lab experience. Rotating 40-hour weeks with weekends/holidays, with potential for overtime as needed. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), vacation, sick leave, and 11 paid federal holidays. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- Medical Laboratory Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist generalist certification (ASCP, NCA, AMT etc.)
- minimum of two (2) years of laboratory experience
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge of professional Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technician principles
