Job Summary
Provide practical expertise in routine and special techniques within a clinical Histotechnology laboratory while collaborating with medical staff and peers to maintain quality patient care. Identify, evaluate, and implement technological enhancements by conducting workflow analysis using LEAN principles throughout the quality management cycle. Apply sound theoretical knowledge of Histotechnology, including experience with automated and manual special stains, to troubleshoot effectively and ensure accurate results. Maintain excellent organizational skills in a dynamic, busy environment while demonstrating effective written and oral communication. Requires CMLTO registration as a General Medical Laboratory Technologist with a minimum of three years in Histology.

- Required to work in a dynamic, busy environment with excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrates sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Histotechnology with effective trouble-shooting skills
- Demonstrates effective communication, both written and oral
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years Histology working experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with Immunohistochemistry and hospital experience
- Experience with automated and manual special stains
- Experience with CoPath LIS and digital pathology
