Job Summary
Will perform and report tests of all complexity levels defined by CLIA on patients of all ages to assist with routine screening, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and injuries. For MLT path, associate degree is acceptable; for MLS path, a four-year degree or ASCP-credentialed MLT with additional clinical hours is required. Will interpret and correlate test results with disease states (MLS), and may perform phlebotomy and specimen processing. Responsibilities include quality assurance/quality control monitoring, instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting, and providing customer service. May engage in research, development, education, and technical consultation. Shift is permanent nights (10:00 pm–8:00 am) with weekends and holidays; part-time FTE ~0.875; site is Fargo, ND with North Dakota licensure requirements and ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice eligibility within 45 days of hire or transfer. Required Qualifications
- MLT: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or CLIA equivalent for complexity of lab testing
- MLS: Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or MLT with ASCP certification and 2 years of lab experience, plus ASCP MLS certification within 1 year
