Job Summary
Under the supervision of a Medical Technologist, the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses to provide data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The role requires an Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology and a valid MLT license. Preferred qualifications include certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist (MT). The position includes a full-time schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology
- License as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by a nationally recognized accrediting agency
