Job Summary
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of body fluids using manual and automated instrumentation to support disease diagnosis and treatment. Accurately report test results, troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, and maintain instruments through required calibration and quality control checks. Process specimens, register lab requests via EMR, and communicate callback values to physicians while meeting established turnaround times for routine and STAT tests. Adhere to cleaning schedules and manage reference laboratory requests. Requires Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician, ASCP registration within one year, and ability to work independently in emergency situations. Shifts include 1st and 2nd shifts with varied start times; 40 hours per week. Sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician
- equivalent combination of education and clinical experience making the employee eligible to take the registry exam
- Registration by the American Society for Clinical Pathologists within one year of hire
- ability to work independently

- ability to meet deadlines required by stats and routines
