MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist position performing moderate- and high-complexity laboratory testing across phlebotomy, urinalysis, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank/transfusion services, and molecular testing. Responsibilities include specimen collection and processing, operating and maintaining analyzers, performing quality control and proficiency testing, reporting results, and participating in quality assurance activities. Role requires testing in all listed areas, on-call duties, and the potential for independence during off-shifts; schedule includes both day and evening shifts with every third weekend on call. Possesses an associate degree (MLT) or bachelor’s degree (MLS/CLS, biology, chemistry, or related field) and appropriate qualification to work in a high-complexity laboratory, with at least one year of experience; laboratory certification such as ASCP or AMT is preferred.
