Job Summary
Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision while operating and maintaining laboratory instruments for chemistry, hematology, and point-of-care devices. Prepare, label, and process specimens accurately, execute quality control procedures, and enter verified results into the Athena EMR. Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to organize specimen collection tubes for next-day patient visits, manage inventory levels, and assist with send-out testing. Adhere strictly to CLIA, OSHA, and safety guidelines within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related science field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- MLT (ASCP) or AMT certification
- Experience in a physician office or outpatient lab setting
- Experience with moderate complexity testing
