Job Summary
Perform CLIA waived and non-waived testing, verify and report laboratory results, and execute analyzer maintenance, calibration, and quality control procedures. Identify issues affecting assay performance or patient results, perform corrective action, and document troubleshooting steps. Manage reagent and supplies inventory, assist with specimen processing, and validate new equipment. Partner with internal and external clients to resolve problems and satisfy expectations. Assist in training students and new employees. Full-time Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with rotating weekends on call.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Eligible to take ASCP, AMT or equivalent certification exam and must pass within one year of hire date
- 1-year medical laboratory experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year medical laboratory experience, preferred
