Job Summary
Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing in a hospital/Lab setting. Collect laboratory specimens, process samples, and perform clinical laboratory testing (manual and automated) following SOPs and regulatory requirements. Demonstrates critical thinking, independent judgment, and commitment to safety and quality. May train new staff, serve as a laboratory resource, and travel to other locations as required. Offers sign-on bonus options and strives to provide flexible shift options and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences required
- MLS Associate degree in laboratory or biological sciences required
- National certification for Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) through ASCP or registry eligible
- MT certification acceptable
- If ND resident, license by ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required
