Job Summary
Performs chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic and diagnostic laboratory tests to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Analyzes and documents results, operates and maintains laboratory equipment, participates in quality control, and works independently in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology and Blood Bank. Includes specimen collection duties and test result communication. Requires an Associate’s degree in a health-related field with a lab internship and ASCP certification or equivalent; evening shift, full-time at Trinity Health system in Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in health related field with lab internship
- Must have ASCP certification or equivalent
- Previous laboratory experience preferred
