Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician

Perform laboratory tests, interpret results, and document reports for patient care. Maintain department equipment, instruments, and tools to ensure accurate clinical operations. This full-time day shift role (6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital requires an ASCP, AMT, or AAB certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician. A Bachelor's in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science, or an Associate degree in Medical Technology, is required. The hospital serves as a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center, offering specialized tertiary services across Virginia Beach, Eastern Shore, and Northeastern North Carolina.
