Job Summary
Perform repetitive and complex laboratory analyses while correlating and interpreting data based on physiological conditions affecting test results. Maintain absolute confidentiality in handling patient information and ensure integrity in reporting numbers and names. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and rapid task adjustments, with phlebotomy experience preferred. Requires certification as a Medical Technologist from a nationally recognized agency such as ASCP, HEW, or AMT.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Technologist from a nationally recognized credentialing agency, i.e., ASCP, HEW, or AMT
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality in the handling of patient information
- Absolute integrity and accuracy in the identification and reporting of number and names
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as generalist strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
