Job Summary
Processes specimens, performs high/moderate complexity testing, reports results, ensures regulatory compliance, maintains quality control, and collaborates with various teams to support patient care and workflow efficiency. Responsibilities include specimen processing and accessioning, testing per standard operating procedures, validating results, proficiency testing participation, inventory management, training of team members, and adherence to safety procedures. Utilizes HIS and LIS software, operates and maintains laboratory equipment, and documents calibrations and maintenance as required by Atlantic Health protocols.
