Job Summary
Perform and interpret routine and specialized laboratory testing, quality control, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, data entry of patient information, and ensure confidentiality of patient data. Requires a Bachelor's degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or related field, state license (if applicable), and certification eligibility with ASCP, AMT, or AAB for Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist; maintain proficiency through ongoing program requirements. Role includes phlebotomy as appropriate, adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, and potential engagement in performance improvement projects and supply management. Flexibility to work a varied schedule and travel between facilities as needed. Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential.
