Job Summary
Conduct prompt, efficient processing and smooth transition of specimens from arrival to respective departments by barcoding, receipting, and preparing incoming samples. Input patients' data and test results into computers while maintaining clear, accurate records. Manage Monday-to-Sunday rosters between 7.00 am and 7.30 pm, including weekend participation. This role supports Pathlab Waikato's daily diagnostic testing for 3000+ patients in Hamilton and surrounding districts, offering a full training plan to register as a Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technician with the NZ Medical Sciences Council.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technician qualification

- Minimum typing speed of 55 words per minute
