Job Summary
Obtain, process, and analyze biological specimens to aid in patient diagnosis and management by setting up tests and ensuring accuracy in specimen handling. Perform both complex and simple lab tests while collaborating with laboratory technologists, supervisors, and healthcare providers to share findings and enhance patient care. Adhere to strict regulatory standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment while adapting to varying conditions and urgent situations. Deliver real-time diagnostic results for emergency medicine, surgeries, and inpatient care, including blood banking and advanced molecular diagnostics, to support trauma cases, ICU patients, and complex disease management.
Required Qualifications
- Able to provide diploma of highest degree obtained
- MLA ASCP Certification within 2 years of hire
