Job Summary
Seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to conduct routine tests and analyses in a clinical laboratory setting, ensuring accuracy and validity of results while adhering to quality control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in medical laboratory sciences, chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field
- MT (ASCP) certification is required
- 1 year of Clinical Blood experience in a hospital or Reference Lab setting within the Hematology/Chemistry Department is required
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Ability to prepare and process laboratory samples using established protocols
- Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards
- Records maintenance and Documentation skills
- Ability to perform a range of clinical laboratory tests and chemical analyses on biological samples
- Ability to isolate and identify specimens using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of laboratory and experimental protocols and procedures
- Ability to utilize, calibrate, configure and/or troubleshoot laboratory testing systems and instruments
- Verbal and written communication skills
