Job Summary
Perform an array of molecular assays including women's health, infectious disease, urology, and hematology FISH tests classified as moderate to high complexity by CLIA '88. Evaluate and perform breast prognostic marker, PD-L1, MMR evaluation, and HER2 DUAL ISH slide enumeration. Process specimens using established laboratory techniques, set up and maintain instruments, and prepare media, chemicals, and reagents. Enter results into the LIS system for physician review and perform equipment maintenance. Coordinate reagent preparation and participate in CAP proficiency testing. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, NAACLS accreditation, and state licensure. Full-time 40-hour 1st shift (Sunday-Thursday) in Las Vegas with competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of Laboratory Science
- Completion of a Medical Laboratory Scientist program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)
- State licensure
- Must possess a GENERAL SUPERVISOR OF A LICENSED LABORATORY license
- Eligible to obtain a GENERAL SUPERVISOR OF A LICENSED LABORATORY license
- Minimum of three years experience as an MT/CLS
