Job Summary
MLT/CLS role providing diagnostic testing across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, serology, and microbiology in inpatient and outpatient clinical laboratories; may assist with phlebotomy. Requires associate degree in medical technology (Bachelor’s preferred), ASCP certification or equivalent, 2-3 years hospital lab experience, BLS, and US citizenship with ability to obtain federal security clearance. Immunization records required. Work involves day or night shifts; Indian Preference exercised; experience with rural patient care and IHS environment is helpful.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of an associate’s degree in medical technology
- ASCP certification or equivalent
- 2-3 years’ experience as an MLT or CLS in a hospital medical lab
- BLS required
- US citizenship
- willingness to pass Federal Security Clearance
- immunization records required
