Medical Lab Technologist (OPSEU LAB), Histology

Medical Lab Technologist (Histology) responsible for conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing, preparing and processing samples with accurate labeling and documentation, performing and releasing results while upholding patient confidentiality, identifying incidents and contributing to corrective actions, supporting new technology evaluations, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Must work in a fast-paced team environment, have strong analytical and communication skills, be proficient with laboratory analyzers and MS Office, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Position is permanent part-time (6:00–14:00 shift) with 20–37.5 hours/week, and requires a college diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science with CMLTO registration.
