Job Summary
Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing, preparing and processing samples with accurate labeling and documentation. Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining strict patient confidentiality. Identify incidents and non-conformities to drive continuous improvement, assist with new technology implementation, and participate in workflow problem-solving. Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a clean work environment. This afternoon shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) is part-time (0–20 hours/week) within the OPSEU LAB collective agreement. Required Qualifications
- College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience
- CMLTO registered and in good standing
- Ability to distinguish multiple colors
- Vaccinations and/or immunization screening (if mandatory for the position)
