Medical Lab Technician PRN Various Shifts

Perform routine laboratory testing following established policies to ensure quality results within timeframes. Verify results and quality control data, evaluate preventive maintenance procedures, and troubleshoot issues as needed. Communicate critical findings to patient caregivers and report unusual results to the supervisor. Maintain computer system proficiency for ordering, reporting, and inquiry functions while ensuring proper reagent utilization. Perform specimen collection, receiving, and processing as required, and practice infection control to keep the work area clean. Report work activities to the oncoming technologist and maintain compliance with Baptist Health policies.
