Job Summary
Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist in Lab Bacteriology – Full Time Days. Performs and interprets standard, complex and specialized tests across chemical, microbiologic, immunologic, hematologic, and immunohematology procedures; calibrates instruments; performs quality control and troubleshooting; documents results per policies; provides administrative and technical support for laboratory testing; participates in training and evaluation of new techniques and personnel. Requires an associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related sciences and ASCP certification. Position located at FMC Main Campus in Lancaster, OH; day shift; on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or one of the chemical, physical or biological sciences required
- ASCP certification required
- American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required
