Job Summary
Perform routine waived, moderately, and high complexity testing; collect, process and receive specimens (blood, urine, fecal, body fluids) for analysis across clinical laboratory departments; evaluate and solve problems related to specimen collection and processing; maintain laboratory equipment and stock; conduct instrument troubleshooting and maintenance; participate in training and in method validation; ensure proper quality control measures under CLIA guidance; roles span MLT I–III and MLS I–III with corresponding wage ranges; strong analytical and troubleshooting skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in applied science in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Licenses and Certification MLT (ASCP) or equivalent
- MLS I/II/III education: Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s for grandfathered personnel) and certification as applicable
